When you get in touch with us, we’ll talk you through the details. If you want to proceed, your dedicated training manager will help you enrol on the course.
Your course tutor will arrange a pre-course Zoom call. This is to discuss and prepare you for delivery of three online live Zoom modules, delivered by one of our experienced tutors.
Although not essential, it is advantageous to attend a FLexercise class before the online training day. If this is not possible, please check out details of our online classes at www.fl-exercise.com. This will give you an idea of the structure and style of each class.
FLexercise’s preferred conference application is Zoom. Instructors will need to download the app from www.zoom.us – it’s free and easy to use.
Your course tutor and the FLexercise technical support team will guide you if you need help getting set up.
You will receive access to the FLexercise Essentials Learner Resources Portfolio in both electronic and hard copy format. A series of online training videos as well as access to our training YouTube Channel for class ideas.
Our live virtual learning modules will be split over three sessions, each of which lasts for 2.5 hours.
The three online modules will teach you everything you need to know to deliver the FLexercise system. You will gain a comprehensive understanding and awareness of the FLexercise system based on the Bagot Stack Principles. With this knowledge you will be able to apply the principles to class planning, taking into account differing needs and abilities.
In preparation for your practical teaching video submission assessment, your course tutor will arrange a follow up Zoom call to chat over your pre-prepared teaching work.
Once you’ve passed the practical teaching assessment you are eligible to teach the FLexercise system in a range of professional settings, including gyms, community halls, dance studios… the list goes on!
You will receive certification and be able to register your CPD points if you are a member of REPS or CIMSPA.
You will receive information about our virtual CPD teacher programme. This is in addition to face-to-face courses.
